Great picks and discussion Hoosiers! The theme I see out of all of this is that we were so very close to having even more banners!!!!!! I saw a lot of games during the Alan Henderson era---and I certainly felt we were the best team in the country without his injury---and we were still very good with him playing hobbled!

 

I have been persuaded---Landon Turner's injury is the worst of all!  It not only took away his basketball but also greatly limited his life.

 I know this is probably not the top but has to be right behind the May and Henderson injurys,Mike Woodson in 1980 with the back.Never was the same after.  That team was really good and ranked No1 when he went down.

  Lost to Joe Berry Carrol and the Boilers in the tourney.We had a pretty good freshman guard on that team also.
