Priller was also just straight out sprinting to the other side of the court to get on defense. Can see him getting some decent freshman minutes, you know Crean is just salivating over that effort.

Also, anyone else see how well spaced the floor was when he was out there? a big man hanging out on the perimeter and actually landing shots? the big man defending him looked way out of place and obviously wasn't used to that. Hope that translates to B1G play too

I am beyond excited for this year after watching the game tonight. I dont care if I am getting pre season goggles or not, I really think this team is going to surprise us all. Hopefully Hanner is making the kind of improvements he has been rumored to be making, if he has I cant wait to see the kind of lineups CTC puts together this year.

Crean talked about Jeremiah April's ankle injury at the end of his interview per the video on ITH. Said it's getting better, but I was worried too. A reporter asked how serious it was, or if it's a long term thing (i think)... and Crean responded that he hopes it isn't a long term thing, but it didn't look good when they checked him before they left for Canada. He went on to say that it looks like it's getting better though, so they will check it again (thoroughly i suppose), once they return to btown.

Seems to me like we have guys with basketball smarts coming in as freshman. You can teach basketball but you can't teach basketball smarts. I'm excited for the season. Something like 51 days till college basketball season.
