I wasn't. The toughest part of IU's schedule was the beginning of the year (mainly on the road) and it also hurt that those opponents for the most part practiced in 60-70 degree weather while any school in the Midwest and Northeast had to hit snowballs for batting practice.

I agree. some people were worried though. And even if we lost those early season games, it helped out RPI, which might end up helping us get a national seed.

I'll admit I'm still worried in a sense that I don't know how well we will do against the likes of Oregon State or Virginia, because teams like Purdue pale in comparison.

True, but we have played some pretty good teams this year and beat them. It all comes down to pitching in the postseason. With DeNato, I think we can beat anyone.

Went to high school with Purdue's pitcher. Pitched a shutout in the state championship game. It was amazing.

The 1st five hitters for IU have reached base and a bases clearing double by DeMuth makes it 4-0 IU.

Just curious if anyone knows what the main college baseball polls are. I ask cuz ccgeneral's post of the lineups has IU at #11 while BTN has IU at #22. At this point of the season, that's a real discrepancy.

BTN always used weird polls. For basketball, they use the coaches poll and no one else even recognizes that. It's one thing I hate about BTN.
