Funny, does Kentucky even have anyone on the team from Kentucky? Do they ever? Check into the records and see how Kentucky got their 2000 plus wins!! This is funnier, they have wins against the YMCAs!! If Kentucky was in the Big 10, ACC, or another conference other than a football conference, you really think they would be at the top all the time?

They actually have 6 on their roster from Kentucky this year, but they don't play much.  Out of fairness, and you have no idea how much it pains me to be fair to them, the state of KY doesn't produce much talent just look at how we dominate them in the JR/SR all star series.

They have the Kentucky Mr. Basketball from the same year as Jordan Hulls. He has not played hardly, carries a clip board during the games. But has practiced on the scout team against 17 pros!

I wouldn't say ZERO, but they are definitely limited.

 

Jarrod Polson is a "homegrown" KY kid and actually got minutes. He was like their Errek Suhr (sp?)

I'm still physically ill that they are in the Final Four. I don't think Wisconsin will beat them either. What the hell is wrong with this season

I think about the only chance they have is that they are always very good at forcing their style on their opponent and have a good coach at the helm.  Unfortunately, Cal is a good coach as well and he has his NBA farm team firing on all cylinders.

I think Kentucky would prefer to run this year's Wisconsin style though. They can get up and down. I wonder if Bo will try to go to his previous, slow it down stuff.

I'm gonna look at it as them winning it would give the conference more credibility since the B1G hasn't won it since 2000 and I'll be 100 dollars richer but ya I was hoping it wasn't Wisconsin.

Wisconsin still doesn't play at a real fast pace, but it's faster than the glacier pace they used to run.  UK doesn't play as fast as this year as they have in the past, or they don't seem too.

 

I don't think Wisconsin will beat them, but I will never ever root for UK.

UK's pace is actually way down compared to the past. Wisconsin's is barely faster than last last year, but they have been playing faster and faster every year for the past five.

 

That being said, they have very similar paces this year. UK is ranked 227th and Wisconsin is ranked 291st. I think that means they will both play quickly at points in the game, but I also think Bo will mix it up a little and run some half-court sets to slow the pace from time to time.
