I would hate to be some of these big name schools in the tourney, like IU, lol. When there is a chance for an upset the entire arena is cheering against you, regardless of who they actually root for

Anyone else read the Myron Medclaf lead up article to the tourney this year? He was riding the Big 12 hard, and seemed to think the Big Ten would be awful in the tourney. I mean overall they have just been solid, but top 3 all looking at Sweet Sixteen appearances as long as MSU hangs on, which I mean is meeting what expectations should be for a big conference

Yeah, and the ACC had Duke and Cuse go down.  They were supposed to be the strength of the tournament.  I really thought both would go far.  They just overlooked their opponent and got caught.

I think if you head into the Sweet 16 with 2 losses you are in excellent shape.  One loss this year would be incredible.

Yeah. And it doesn't help that meeting expectations almost seems to be seen as just as bad as underperforming. 

 

And yeah ACC has been a bit underwhelming. Still remember Coach K's comment about how good the ACC was this year

With all the switching conferences schools have done it is hard to know which conference teams are affiliated with anymore.

Looks like best brackets at ESPN had them missing 2 games in the 1st round.  There were like 20 of them.  One guy missed 1, but has sucked in the round of 32.

You're probably going to have to pick the winner, runner up, and 1 of the other 2 final four teams unless the tourney gets completely screwy and the final 4 is Dayton, Tennessee, Memphis, and San Diego St. I don't know why I remember this but the year George Mason made the final 4 as a 11/12 seed, there were 20 or so people in the ESPN bracket challenge that had all 4 teams correct.

After watching IU all year, I envy teams that:

 

1) can inbound the ball against a press

 

2) actually get the ball to their best free throw shooter.
