Ronnie Johnson Leaving Purdue

Recommended Posts

I don't have a link, but have heard some conflicting reports from Purdue fans on the subject.

Might be the only opportunity to watch Rojo vs. Rojo if he were to stay at Purdue for next year

total rumor here but people on purdue board are stating that Ronnie Johnson, Jeremy Hollowell, and Ron Patterson are interested in transferring to the same team.   hmmm.  It does raise an interesting thought.  Also, it wasn't obvious to me but the riff between Crean and Hollowell could very well revolve around the Ron Patterson decision.  They are best friends after all.

Unfortunately, that rumor makes logical sense. Fortunately, that "big three" isn't too imposing. (I'm a big supporter of Jeremy)

Where would they transfer to though? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I heard butler and Xavier thrown out there but for a team to take on 3 sitting transfers would be a big burden on the program for a year. Although, it would be a pretty good haul for a smaller tier school.

It all could work out like that, if it will is an entirely different story. It will definitely be one that I keep my eye on. Very interesting rumor.

Iowa St. Seems this team takes any transfer or kids who were kicked off the team. Lol. Hope JH doesn't leave.

My fear is they go there or someplace and magically learn to play. I wouldn't be shocked to see JH succeed somewhere but he has not shown us IU fans much.

Personally I would love to see them succeed if they go somewhere else. If they don't think it's at IU, (clearly we have questions) then have success somewhere else. Go for it!

I was really hoping to see Jeremy step it up during his sophomore season and it didn't happen. He may have been in the dog house but I do think he was given opportunities to show that he could contribute at a level a Big Ten player should. My opinion is that he plays soft and I don't think it bothers him enough to do something about it. He might be better suited somewhere else.
