yeah, falling off was probably a wrong term.  I get the notifications from ESPN, and was here at the jobsite late last night as I travel to home to Terre Haute today, and my eyes raised at the scores.  Of course, I wasn't smart enough to watch the game online. Hell, I remember the Reggie years very well and I'm not worried.  Yet.  If PG can channel his inner Reggie come playoff time, they'll be just fine.

I guess it would depend on what you were expecting from Danny after he came back. I haven't been disappointed in his play, but it has certainly been a bit inconsistent. He loses shooters a lot when he is suppose to defend them, and his shooting wavers from game to game. That all being said he has been an upgrade on the bench over what we had last year.

I have a friend that keeps tweeting that the pacers just locked it up. To be honest I don't think this trade helps you guys. I think it was a money conscious move.

Yeah I feel like we just traded Danny for a little bit shorter, more athletic version of himself. Money makes sense though. Don't know much about Lavoy Allen.

Depends on what Danny does the rest of the season, and Turner as well. Danny has had a few bad games in a row, and theoretically Turner could work out. His low efficiency numbers both with high and low usage rates scares the hell right out of me.

Allen is a pretty high energy guy to come off the bench. Or at least that is what he has been in the league so far

Not to mention he was the "go-to guy" if you can really call it that in Philly. Is he going to come to Indiana and just accept not getting many shots? Who knows.

I hope it does work out, I really do. With as weak as the East is the pacers are the only thing standing between a 4th straight finals. I want the pacers at their best so if we do win ppl can't say the heat didn't get challenged in the playoffs. Let's be honest the East is a joke.

From what I've heard, Turner is a complete head case. I honestly don't think he will sit well with this team because he won't be the guy, like Dalton said. I'm sure if he caused any trouble West or Larry will set him straight, but still. Hope he proves me wrong.

Same here. Also, it would be one of the most entertaining series in the playoffs, and could see it being the most entertaining. 

 

With Turner I'd expect he gets a relatively green light with the second unit,

Turner is better than Granger at this point of their careers, he just is, no way you can argue it. Also if Lance for some reason cannot be resigned next year Turner isn't a bad replacement. Danny did so much for this org but pro sports are sometimes cruel, Granger was gone at the end of the year no matter what. Danny also will get more minutes to try and prove that he deserves any semblance of a solid contract. And I'm hesitant to buy in on the "head case" stuff, Lance was (still sort of is) a head case. I'm sure it's not easy to hardly ever lose in college, then come to the league and be on an awful team every year. Lavoy Allen is also not just a throw in, he is a solid player in his own right.

So Orlando Johnson has been cut, to make room for Turner and Allen. Not too surprised, guy was pretty disappointing to start the year, and wasn't going to crack the rotation.

 

Apparently Danny is expected to be bought out of his contract. He isn't able to sign here. I've heard a number of places as possible landing spots

I know the Thunder want a shooter. But I think they're more interested in a 2.
