Q: Best Player on Offense in B1G? A: Yogi Ferrell

Recommended Posts

For as much as he shoots you would hope our pg would atleast have a better than average fg%. Name the under 6 foot players who you even know of in the nba not to mention actually play. I'd be surprised if he ever plays 1 regular season nba minute

Not current, but Spud Webb and Mugsey Bogues pop into my mind immediately. Being under six foot is not a asset in the NBA, but its not a definitive barrier either.

Nate Robinson carried the Bulls to the 2nd round last year at 5'8. Jameer Nelson is listed at 6 feet. Ty Lawson at 5'11. Kyle Lowry at 6 feet. Chris Paul is listed at 6 feet or 5'11 depending on where you look. And he's pretty good from what I've heard.

Given the one next level talent everyone talks about with Yogi right now is his speed, I'd throw in Speedy Claxton. He actually carved out a pretty lucrative 9 year career in the NBA. Not the most flashy player, but he made a career of just being really fast, and able to put the ball in the basket, something that Yogi can do. And Speedy did it in the current age of the league.

His numbers came from Kenpom. Which is a site that uses advanced statistics and formulas to calculate stuff...... so no it wasn't.

Interesting, I'd like a link to that.

All the more reason crean gotta go, kenpom says we have the best offensive player in the big ten and we suck

Pretty sure you have to have to be paying for the inside stuff from his site. I don't, I just noticed it in the OP, that Rayl has a note at the bottom he got the stats from Kenpom. I wouldn't be able to supply a link

You listed 4, and two are 6 feet or over. My point exactly

Its been a bad day kyle, lets not push the envelope too far. Nobody wants to hear it. There is a thread about CTC. Post your opinions on him there.

That is correct. It's certainly not an opinion poll. Cold hard stats from Ken Pomeroy. http://kenpom.com/

And, yes, access to most of the stats does require a subscription.
