Honestly, as soon as his hand covered the revolver, the words "I forgive you", came to my lips. Strange world, strange time, you would never know how you would respond unless you are in that situation.

Yep, some peoples minds would snap, some people would lose the thin veneer of civilization that lets them fit in now, and the brutal, sociopathic people they actually are would take over. On the other hand, some people that you would have thought to be too weak to handle it would come out the strongest, and some you thought of as dirtbags would find streaks of humanity. Just flipping the world upside down.
