Even if it wasn't Glenn being eaten originally, there's no way he can get up and get out of the herd. The herd was huge and once the other guy is completely gone they would move to Glenn. I just don't see a realistic scenario of him getting out alive.

The only thing I could even remotely consider a slight possibility would be IF Nicolas landed on top of him and he managed to crawl under the dumpster and just hang out.  In the pictures posted his head was near the dumpster (although he fell with his head away from the dumpster, editing mistake), but the problem is the dumpster isn't high enough off the ground for a person to crawl under.

 

He gone.  There's no realistic way he could've survived that I can see either.  I think we'll see Glenn in flashbacks or maybe a knocked up Maggie (the producer did say some part of Glenn), I don't see them revealing walker Glenn.

I just hit refresh and it worked.

 

I wouldn't call point 6 "rock solid proof".  Even if Nicolas fell on him there is nowhere for him to squirm; he's surround by a crap ton of walkers and the only place that would offer some safety, under the dumpster, isn't enough room for any person to fit in.

 

EDIT:  As for the point about IMDB, even if he did a cameo appearance (ala Beth) they'd give him credit for it.

They could also do something similar to what they did when they killed Lori, when Rick was losing it and saw her everywhere, and Sarah Wayne Callies got credit for the minute or two of each episode.  Maggie has already lost her father and sister, so maybe she finds out Glenn was zombie chow and starts losing it and sees his ghost.

 

Or this is all moot because it never happened and the apocalypse was a wild dream while Rick was in his coma caused by some potent drugs in the hospital.  Plot twist.

Ok. Just caught up with the past 2 weeks, and I'll admit I was scared. This thread is about 4 pages longer than it was 2 weeks ago, so I figured something big happened. Everytime I came on BTB I saw this thread and had to refrain from clicking on it. This show is so unbelievably good. I can tell because when Glenn "died" (still unsure of that now) I just sat there feeling numb. Talking dead was so sad to watch. Will be interested to see how Rick gets out of his predicament. And wow I didn't realize was Carl's woman said until reading this thread but it makes sense. She's part of the wolves. That guy in the tower needs a new job, something where he doesn't need to aim anything. Carol is a maniac and I love it. Morgan is too nice and it upsets me. There, think I covered everything.

Maybe. Somebody at work told me the producer had said he was dead, so I just looked that up. The producer said that the Glenn we knew was dead, so I'm assuming he is alive but we are going to see changes to his character.

I won't be surprised if they write it so he just crawled under the dumpster; there wasn't enough room under there but editors could miss that.  That's really the only way I can see him making it out of that mess.

I'm still going into this episode as Glenn dies, but here is my theory:

 

Glenn is rescued by a small group of survivors. In the first episode, Glenn rescued Rick when there seemed to be no out. I expect this new group to do this as well for Glenn.
