Another reason to hate Calipari

I found an article today through Bleacher Report that led me to an original write up by Zach Osterman in the Indy Star. In it, was this quote by Calipari: "We don't have obnoxious — well, we may, but I never hear them — but we don't treat the other team with disrespect. If we won a game against the No. 1 team in the country in Rupp Arena, would people charge the court? No. You're supposed to (win.) You're Kentucky. We don't do that here." So there's that... While I was okay with storming the court after that game, release of emotion and all that, I hope we never storm the court again unless it's a national title.  I was so glad there wasn't a court storming after beating OSU.

Definitely a time and place for court-storming. I feel like the circumstances (we're back, they were #1, and the shot itself) were perfect for the court-storm. Other than that, we should never storm the court. Completely agree.

I saw them.  Yet a mod on another site said he wouldn't wish what we went through on UK.  Screw that, I wish worse on them.  If any program deserves to go through that, it's UK.

i only really know a small percentage of what really goes on there and ive heard some crazy things that hes done there and other programs. Although i may not wish what you do upon them lol. I do believe he is very shady, and the type of recruits he pulls in every year is amazing. But im sure uk fans say the same things about us, for him to say there arent any fans that are nuts makes him sound dumb, every school i dont care if its stony brook or duke, everyone has fans that are ignorant and rude.

Words do not exist to describe how much I utterly despise UK.  I used to have a fraction of a subatomic particle of respect for the success they've had, then they hired Cal and even that disappeared.

 

UK symbolizes filth and corruption, so much so that they fired the only clean coach they've ever had.  Cal is everything that's wrong with college athletics in a suit, he probably sleeps hanging upside down wrapped in a cocoon of his own wings.  If someone told me they had proof that his daily routine includes corrupting the souls of children I wouldn't be surprised.  Cal and UK is a match made in hell.

 

Each time I watch a UK game, I hope they get utterly destroyed.  I mean demolished so badly that stories are written and passed down through the generations.  I'm talking talking an apocalyptic beatdown of proportions that would make the Book of Revelations look like Dr. Seuss.  I'm talking fire and brimstone raining down upon Lexington.  I'm talking talking devastation so profound and all encompassing it'd make Sodom and Gomorrah look like Bora Bora.  I'm talking Cal crawling on his hands and knees begging for mercy, and hearing the voice of God say "no".

It is easy for Cal to talk smack after he has tucked tail and ran. He can take pot shots all he wants, they are only words, and that's what he is.....talk. Does he have balls to back it up? No! If he did, he would do the right thing and bring the game back, but he is a gutless coward that didn't want to come back to AH, and he knows that IU would have destroyed them last year at SMURF arena.

Not really.  I didn't even scratch the surface of how much I hate UK.  I said words don't exist to describe how much I hate them, it's truly an unhealthy level but I don't care.

if he calls one of our games, i mute the tv and sync up don fischer with it on my tune in app lol. I think since he was a part of IU he tries not to sound biased when calling the games, but he leans the other way with the opponent, you would think he was a huge UK fan. He will sit there and just rip apart iu for no reason.
