What about his 6tos Coach?

"Troy looked like Usain Bolt on that dunk," Crean said. #iubb

Usain Bolt comment might be in reference to how many steps he quickly took. Could have been a TO there.

I'm a Troy supporter. I realize the amount of turnovers he creates, but he can't get into a rhythm when he plays 2 minutes and sits 10 at a time. You could say he sits because of his turnovers, but I want to give him more time.

This applies to everyone, not just Troy.

That's true. Crean's subbing baffles me at all times. I just always seem to notice Troy gets pulled and stays out for extended periods.

Oh, don't feel alone there. I've been mystified by his substitution pattern for years. If a player gets hot: bench him! If a lineup is working: line shift!

I honestly look at Troy like we did Victor as a freshman and some sophomore year. He's just moving to fast for his ability right now. When those align.... Well we all know how VO last year.

That's a good thing though.. Hollowell hasn't switched gears for 4 years..you can't fix that. hint (CWat)

I don't understand Crean on some players.  Like Luke, he will talk him down like he is playing like crap, then talk Troy up.  Don't like singling players out, but Crean does this a lot.  Don't get that.  Don't know if he is looking for specific things he has practiced on and ignores all other things.  Luke was at times the best player on the court and Crean acts like he played ok.  Troy dunks once and struggles a bit, and Crean couldn't be happier.  Some things I don't get I guess.

I like Troy a lot, but he hasn't really lived up to the hype he was gettin before he got here. I think by next season he will be settled in and ready to be the player he's supposed to be. And I agree, he does need to quit worryin about tweeting and focus his time in Cook Hall

I think Crean has the art of managing players emotions down with his comments. He knows how the players think. With Luke, he can be harder on him and Luke will push himself harder and harder. Troy on the other hand may need more positive reinforcement which Crean provides in post game comments.

I no longer out much value in what Crean says at the end of games because he is saying those things for a specific reason, and not because it's just on his mind. Everything has a purpose. I believe he was quoted at saying something similar to what I said at a coaching clinic a few years back. I'll look for a link.

Hollowell will never be has good as Cwat imo.

I think you're right on. CWat was a very good Hoosier, though. So if Jeremy improves, but doesn't surpass CWat's success, he could still be a really good Hoosier himself.
