i didn't see it but it immediately reminded me of the Charlotte game from maybe 2006 or 2007 when the Charlotte player caught the ball with 0.7 seconds left, turn, took a dribble or two and hit a 3 at the buzzer to beat us. :negative:

I think they were robbed as well. Per the rules I believe with .3 seconds left that is enough time for catch & shoot... and this was more like a tip as he caught and shot while still in midair. It all depends on clock operator as well but it seems very apparent in the video that the ball was out of his hands before the buzzer/light sounded.

Anyone remember this? Colorado at Arizona last year.

 

 

This shot was initially ruled good, and as you can see, the ball is out of his hands with 0.2 on the clock and the light not on behind the backboard. Everyone in the building knew it was good, but after it was shown on the jumbotron, the Arizona fans started cheering. The officials, intimidated by the crowd, waved it off. Arizona went on to win in overtime.
