How Will IU Respond This Weekend After The Syracuse Loss?

Recommended Posts

I'm pretty sure coach went ballistic on the team, so I'd say they will be on top of their game Saturday and severely punish N Fla. I don't think I've EVER heard coach say he was disgusted about somethin his team had done, so yea I'm willing to bet it's all bad news for N Fla lol

I agree with you.  Coach has every right to go off on this team.  I think we will see a stronger IU team from awhile.  I think the Big10 is where we will struggle, but I don't think we will ever hear those type of comments again.  This game could really tell a lot about this team, even if it is against a cupcake type team.

I agree, I expect a young team to struggle in B1G play, but I doubt we see the slop we did at Cuse. And I'm fine with the B1G struggle, they have to learn somehow, so I see this season as a chance for the freshmen to get their feet wet, and by next year be settled in comfortably

I think any IU fan should be excited for next year, esp. if Vonleh stays another year (really hope he does).  Plus, adding in JB2 who could start right away, I say IU is looking Top10 good.

Anyway, yeah, this year will be a struggle IMO.  However, it will be a fun ride to watch this team grow.  At least some of the guys can get us off our feet in a frenzy with an insane dunk!  Man, Williams' put back dunk was just incredible lol.

I hope he threw a chair at a picture of Gene Keady in the visitors locker room.  Then hopefully he had them count steps in AH.  That was the most pathetic half I have seen in years, and that is saying something.  We aren't as talented as Syracuse.  I expected us to lose by 10-15.  We didn't compete.  We played scared.  I love this team, and I still love the upside.  Still do.  But, hopefully he lit them up for that performance.  They better learn to compete for 40 minutes, or they are really going to have trouble in the B1G.
