i like how they came out strong right away, im glad they never let down when they were up, last years team seemed to give up when up by at least ten. This is such a fun season so far.

I think it'll keep getting more fun too!

Well when can we make it.... I yell everytime he touches the ball. Devin Davis should start over him already and let Jeremy come off the bench and see what if anything he can add that way.... He stands around on D, Turns the ball over when he touches it, can't shoot, apparently can't dunk...

I hear you, but I really don't think Crean would play him if he thought he was a lost cause. I understand he isn't performing, but there is a reason he's out there, and it isn't measured by what fans think. I'll stop believing in Hollowell the moment I see Crean stop.

(For the record, I don't see that ever happening)

From the sound of it, JH plays well in practice, not so much in games...  Coach is giving him the time he needs in game to become comfortable and loosen up, it's just taking some time.  jmo  These early games are a good time to do that.

Some players never get used to the big stage while others grow into it throughout the season and/or from one yr to the next.

JH's starting position might be on a short leash with the players behind him so he better make that adjustment soon.

I think Hollowells biggest problem is he's trying to do too much. I think he's trying to fill the void of olodipo instead of just relaxing and letting the game come to him. I'm not worried it's still early and Crean will get it figured out.

The situation with Jeremy will get figured out. Whether he loses his spot (I hope not), or gets things going, it will get figured out. I have no clue as to what will happen tonight. If we lose, let's remember to look at the big picture for the season. If we win, that will be fantastic, but again remind ourselves to look at the big picture. Obviously I'd rather be checking out the big picture after a win though.

I think JH is having trouble adjusting to Coach Crean's style a bit.  Just my guess.  Coach wants him to go fast, but not too fast.  JH is a laid back kid with a quiet type of a game.  Once he figures out the right combo between playing fast, but not too fast for himself, he will be one of our best players.  He just struggles going too fast right now, and you can see it.

JH can shoot the ball, and is good, but he is extremely streaky.  If Jeremy gets his first shot to go down from outside the paint, you know he will have a good shooting night.  JH didn't have the best game last night, but he did play better the 2nd half.  That dunk he tried was great to see.  He showed aggression that he just doesn't show.  He needed to do that, and I didn't know he could do that honestly.  I may complain about JH's play for bad games, but I think he has a really big upside.  I think a lot of the bashers will be eating a lot of crow next year.  I stated before the season started that I think JH will start this season, but will be a consistent major factor next season starting at the 4.
