Dang. That bluiett kid is a straight scorer. Wish he wanted to play at IU. Rojo, Blackmon, Bluiett would have been nice, then add a big. Play 3 guard sets all day. Shooters, drivers, basketball players all over the court.

Wonder if his relationship with yogi or blackmon were the deterrent. I know I have heard he wants to be the guy. But that argument doesn't hold up for UCLA or Xavier. Plenty of other talent there. What gives?

I'm hoping to go to Seymour to watch the semi-state games. Bluiett plays in the second game against Clarksville. Would like to see him play in person.

We never recruited him when he decommitted from UCLA, that's what gives.  For some off the wall reason that probably only makes sense to Crean.

I wish I knew why.  He has mad skills.  Seen him score 40 in AAU games too.  IMO it must be a chemistry thing with Blackmon or Yogi, or his parents aren't IU/Crean fans.  Something is up.  Can you shed some light, doc libby?

I would guess there was some form of communication between the Bluiett camp and Crean saying that Indiana wasn't a player and wasn't going to happen.  I'm sure Yogi said as much since both guys played together.   Just because you didn't hear on message boards and Twitter that Crean recruited him, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

The Seymour semi-state this Saturday has the 1A game between Clay City and Barr-Reeve starting at 1:00 with the Park Tudor vs Clarksville to immediately follow. I will be rooting on Clay City as they take on the #1 ranked Barr-Reeve team. Hope to stay and watch the second game. Go Eels!

Someone that works in the Park Tudor athletic department told me otherwise.  An IU assistant sent a text and that was all.
