Watching Uvwo block some kid at the rim and then literally laughing as he’s running down the floor is 1 of my favorite things in a good minute.

I'm probably crazy but wouldn't a frontcourt of Lewis Uvwo and Darius Wabbington work incredibly well. Their skillsets complement each other perfectly. With Uvwo running the floor, rebounding and protecting the rim, blocking every thing in sight and Wabbington handling, dishing dimes and shooting at 6'11". Damn a man can dream. Wabbinton with the alley oop and Uvwo throws it down.

As good as AJ Williams is, and he is so fun to watch, Kamagate is gonna be the top kid in ‘28 at some point soon and then he’ll just stay there. Absurd tools.
 

The thing with Uvwo as I’ve thought more about him, he has a ridiculously high floor because he’s at such a rare level on the things he already does well. His floor is probably Tariq Owens at TTU when they played for the Natty. Elite defender, completely shuts down the lane. Elite rim runner and PNR finisher. And that’s as bad as it gets for him. But, Jesus, he’s already got a pretty elbow jumper, he can already straight line drive, he flashes vision. If he extends his range maybe 5’ and develops 1 go to post move he’s then the player people have been trying to tell us Evan Mobley is but actually isn’t. That’s a #1 overall pick kind of kid.
