Maybe, because of weather but no post game interview… happened a couple times. 

IU Ladies just don’t have the players especially trying to throw the transfer portal together that they basically have gotten 0 results from.

The mindset has to be a wreck.

Getting excited what was considered a good win vs 2-7 and 7-14 Florida State team seems to be the highlight of 25-26.  
And competitive with Iowa State.

The whole seems to be lesser than the parts. Supposed to be the other way around. Last year, Noyan & Stotijn contributed to their teams. This year they seem invisible.

I’d agree with that. And lemondola and sharneece and Bargessar are excelling.. smaller programs but if we had half of their contributions it would be better than none

Contract runs through 26-27.  So after the season fiasco of transferring I doubt if there is an extension.  So bringing in the 26-27 recruits (4), keeping key players from this year’s team (maybe 4 or 5), and 2 or 3 of the best players from transfer portal would turn things around…getting 3 high impact players from transfer portal is a long shot)….to be competitive.

Option 2:  Call Molly Miller (as noted by others).

Option 3:  ?

Speaking of Bargesser I seen her in video clips in NY, I think working with a trainer on her game last summer.  This year 15 ppg, 79.1% fts, 45.6% fgs, 2 pfs, 37.3% 3 ball, 5.7 rbs, 2.1 tos while playing 31 minutes a game.  I get the competition level….but Caffey could have worked under Bargesser because she worked hard and is much improved.

So true.  Innovation or experimentation does not seem to be CTM's strong suite. If you're losing big time, why not try something different? What do we have to lose at this point?

Bargesser had her an ugly looking shot but always did contribute. Defensively was fierce, and could make some plays. One of her best games was when we beat Caitlin Clark’s highly ranked games at home. With this roster she’d never seen the bench.

What a good player for Caffey to play under because Caffey regardless of what T. Moren tries to say just ain’t ready to be the # 1 point guard yet.

I don’t think you’re wrong on that either. The board likes makalusky because she’s an Indiana girl, caffey has a lot more upside. Mak stands at the wing and gets a few open 3s, gets torched defensively and that’s about it. Caffey will be able to play this level needs help

I’ve watched 90% of the IUWBB games over the past 4-5 years.  Moren usually does very well.  But this year, even after a underperforming last season, was never expected.  This was the first game I didn’t watch any part of.  
 

This rise of other programs as we’ve fallen makes it all the more difficult.

Two things to notice here.  Freshman Maya Makalusky led the team in scoring.  Not bad for such a loser, at least according to some folks here.

Faith Wiseman had 1 bucket, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks and took up lots of space in the middle. 
Take a look at her =/- of +1 in 12 minutes of play.  Stated another way, when Faith was of the lineup for her 28 minutes, Michigan gained a point a minute.  When she was not in the lineup for her 12 minutes, IU gained a point.
There may be other reasons for that +/-, but somehow that stat can't be ignored, can it?

I’m sorry but if you don’t watch. Most of makalusky points are either on a long rebound while she’s standing on the 3 point line or a pass while she is standing there. It’s about all she does. Maybe that’s coaching I don’t know exactly but she is not a play maker and doesn’t create offense

Makalusky can be a good 3 point shooter and improve her all around game as she gets older with the right players.  She can play as a freshman right now.  
However, if things don’t change with 0 wins I don’t know how you live in the gym to get better as a sophomore or throw in the towel and transfer.  Makalusky is worth holding onto and will be very good with the right kind of team mates as in good players.

She plays as a freshman as they get drummed by double figures she’s got a lot of work to do also
