6-10 in Q1 and 4-3 in Q2.  Wow, this dude is a winner lol

His overall record seems  to say he does.  In his first year in a power 5 job at a powerhouse college basketball program like West Virginia that plays in the Big 12 a better conference then the B1G I would say yeah that is a good enough record to get you into the tourney in any other normal year when the committee chair isn’t the AD of North Carolina

The current best coach in college basketball didn’t make the tournament until year 3 and didn’t win a tournament game until year 5. You’ll live, I promise.

Are you only looking at records?  Or style of play, coaching, basketball iq, etc?

Or you've completely lost touch with reality over the course of the past 30 years. Lmao

Yay, the "realistic" argument in fanbases!  I actually think I'm being more realistic than you.

Please, go ahead and walk us through the differences between Hurley's early years at UConn and DDV's style of play, in game coaching, and roster construction. I'd love to laugh.

Sounds like you're completely open minded as you're waiting to laugh.

You started a thread imploring to fire a coach during his first year less than 20 games in. “Realistic” isn’t a word that should be in your vocabulary. Dan Hurley was 12-8 and 3-4 in the American Conference through his first 20 games. Maybe sit the rest of this one out.

You're the one making claims you apparently don't care to back up. And who refuses to accept the current realities of IUBB lol. Have a nice night

Some pump the sunshine for the current coach or any sitting coach and pump it up and hope they do good at IU while others pump the sunshine for hoping and wishing IU was a better overall basketball program then it’s actually became and currently is.  It is what it is.   When you were invested in a powerhouse program and it’s slowly dwindled down to a mediocre middle of the pack program then that’s hard to grasp

Waiting on that comparison between early UConn Hurley and today's DDV. All ears, waiting with my notepad ready. Any time you want to back up your claims, be my guest. Unless you can't?

Low standards? Rich coming from a guy who probably wasn’t alive the last time IU won a national title.

Agreed.  Best take here honestly.

Some pumped everything Archie did for years while belittling everything the realistic fan said.  Then they do the same thing over and over while trying to act superior.  It's wild to me.

Oooh...here come assumptions!  Yay I love these as people try to act superior with personal insults.

Unfortunately you are wrong.

Cool, thanks!  But I'm happy with my lot in life.  I feel sorry for people with low standards.
