It never ceases to amaze me how some people have a complete inability to comprehend words that are actually written in favor of those they want to read so they can react and be condescending.  I guess that's why they used to have that as a section on the SAT.  Some people can't do it and get weeded out.

Your point is...?  I did say "I assume that'll get reined in," and I also mentioned (twice) the quality of his shots.   It isn't all about the percentage itself......which I think is your correlation, right?  That Goode was fine until he wasn't and you're extrapolating that into the opposite in this case?

I scored very well on my SAT, but I got weeded out in college  ...

Wilkerson looked pretty damn good shooting 11-11 from the free throw line today. Shot 6-15 from the floor and 3-9 from three. 

Maybe, just maybe, that threat of him launching from deep pulls the defense away from the basket and allows him to get a first step on defenders. Because the kid scored 26 points on 15 shots from the floor.

That, Old Friend, is what people seem to call ‘modern basketball’; threes, layups, and free throws.  It’s a change that takes some getting used to, and today it was a breath of fresh air for me. Wilkerson shot 33% from three today, just like Myles Rice’s % last year. But he was nothing…nothing like Myles Rice. Wilkerson’s offense was a major factor in a gutsy IU win over a good team.
