Class of '66 Old Fart Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Enright 2 fouls. Reports are officials aren't letting us play physical ball. They did this twice in the Thursday game. https://x.com/i/status/1954319771371286734 Quote

Stuhoo Posted August 9, 2025 Author Posted August 9, 2025 They want Jasai Miles to be able to play but he got yanked immediately for crap defensive awareness. Quote
Parakeet Jones Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Down 13 six minutes in. We are 1-6 from 3. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 We're getting beat inside. Mega throwing it over the top to taller inside players. 23-10 Quote

DeVries created this roster, he’s gonna have to figure out a way to make it work now. Glad they get to see the deficiencies early and can try to figure things out in time to make the best of a not so great set of size and talent. HoosierHoopster, cybergates and str8baller 3 Quote
Parakeet Jones Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 We have been called for 8 fouls to their 4. Clearly they are using B18 officials down in PR. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Osterman - Indiana doesn't have the size to contend with Mega at a couple key spots, and it's showing. We don't have live stats but Reed Bailey has at least one foul, which is obviously part of the problem. At the other end, good looks aren't going down, so Mega's getting some breathing room. DeVries was pretty vocal in the timeout huddle. Clear he expects more than this. Home Jersey 1 Quote

Or we’re undersized and fouling in the paint as a result. The style complete 180 is going to take some getting used to; when you’re undersized and play five out three-point shots will need to go in. RaceToTheTop Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Wilkerson Bailey and Emright each with two fouls Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Correction. It was not the end of the 1st Q but now it is and it's 31-16. More from Osterman - The Hoosiers couldn't get shots to fall with much consistency, leading to easy runouts and outnumbered transition situations. Mega leaned into its size advantage, with bigs that can move and stretch the floor, and it created foul problems. And without wanting to oversimplify the analysis, 31 points in 10 minutes will never not be problematic. There's also an element of Indiana looking flustered with some elements of the international setting, namely the officiating and the 3-point line. But they have to adjust. Stemmed the bleeding just a bit in the last moments of the first quarter. Need to build on that. Quote
IU5355 Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Osterman mentions the international 3 point line. Anyone know the difference? Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 1-8 from 3 in the 1st Q. Enright picked up his 3rd foul Quote
