Looking for Parking Passes for all Big Ten games

Recommended Posts

Looking to buy parking passes for any of the Big Ten games. Specifically in the grass lots. I bought a mini season package, and the only parking available is far away. The ticket office said season ticket holders bought up all of the good lots.

Do they no longer offer the option to pay the day of?  I got tickets for opening day.

No option to pay on the day of the game. Everything is sold out except the parking lots way away from the stadium. I thought for sure I would be able to buy a grass lot spot on the first day they went on sale, but nope they sold out beforehand

Holy cow!!  Well, I guess that is good in one way.  Football at IU is more popular, but now I have to walk, LOL

For the Michigan game last year I paid more for parking in a grass lot ($280) than I did for the three tickets total.  Think I got the parking tickets about three weeks before the game and a week later they were already up to $380....and it wasn't like it was a lot that was close.

A bit of updated info from yesterday on single game parking provided from another site by a broker who has a connection in the Ticket Office FWIW.....

The current plan is to offer single game parking to anyone who purchased single game tickets, for the game in which they purchased single game tickets only. If there is still parking remaining after that, its TBD how they move forward. Emails should be sent to single game purchasers in the next couple of weeks.

Same broker just added this....

I should add that the Park Ave and Forest Ave grass lots are completely sold out via season tickets. Even some very low point season ticket holders did not receive those lots. Instead, they were placed in the Genesis Church lot on the north side of the stadium across the 45/46 Bypass. This is also where single game parking will be sold.

I've never quite understood why parking is so tough for IUFB.  We have a pretty modest stadium -- 52.5K capacity, and less the 8K students who aren't buying nice parking spots, about 44.5K people need parking.  That's not a huge number.  It seems like we have a lot of lots and fields around the stadium.  But gosh darn is parking expensive and hard to get.

I'm sure we just have less parking than I think, but sheesh.  We sold about 34-35K season tickets and that alone pushed people to the Genesis Church!

It appears (I could be wrong though) IU is now highlighting some more lots east of Fee for public parking given all the demand.  Interesting stuff and a good problem.

Building a walking bridge over the bypass for that lot would save me a lot of road rage. It’ll only get used 7-8 times a year, but think about how happy it would make me.

Yes this is what I was told yesterday by my ticket guy. I bought mini season ticket package but if this would have been told to me I think I would have gotten season tickets instead. Really disappointed I didn't get a chance to buy a grass lot pass

Small update with regard to single game parking - a poster on another site just posted that he received an email from the ticket office today offering him parking for the single games that he purchased.  Genesis Church lot @ $50 per game.
