Ok, so if the deal here is that you’re gonna have to hold back 3, 3.5 mil of your NIL budget for the possibility of bringing on a kid who isn’t going gonna hit your campus until August so will have missed your entire summer program, has held your roster building hostage, is only gonna be there for 1 year and, oh yeah, you may not actually get him and have therefore failed to maximize your roster potential? Uh, no. Don’t care how talented he is, if that’s the timeline I’m down with moving on. You better have roster certainty in June. ronzo4IU, Crimson and Cream, go iu bb and 1 other 4 Quote

A hyper-talented, super high-motor a$$h*le is actually a very good thing to be, as long as he’s also a good teammate. Demo 1 Quote

Would agree with the contingency that DDV is able to spend 100% of his NIL budget and fully construct his roster with that kid not being factored in in any way and should they be able to make something happen there the money people are prepared to write a big extra check. If that’s the agreement, fine, keep swinging and treat his recruitment like a lottery ticket. Just not sure that’s how that will go. go iu bb, Stuhoo, Class of '66 Old Fart and 1 other 4 Quote

I know nothing, but I’m thinking UNC or a longer odds chance of UK. Edit: I could also see Calipari being a good choice for him. Pope could be a train wreck. given that the kid has a tricky personality, Malone at UNC is probably an excellent choice for him. Quote

I feel that and with the timing of Vasaar that makes absolute perfect sense. Quote
Stuhoo Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago And just like that, I checked the Kentucky board to see if there was any news there, and they are saying that Trilly Donovan just put in a prediction of Mikka to Arkansas. Class of '66 Old Fart, WayneFleekHoosier and Demo 3 Quote

Not that most aren’t but in this case it was never gonna be anything but the size of the check. If Arkansas got to the number his people wanted then it became time to make a call and leverage that and Trilly’s probably right for the moment. But if any school at all in the country is willing to beat that number by 9:59am Monday morning he could land literally anywhere. Home Jersey 1 Quote
