Women’s vs Men’s Game Coaching

I saw a comment in the fire Woodson thread that suggested if Moren was coaching the men’s team we would be top 15.

Most would say Moren is one of the better coaches in the women’s game, is basketball universal enough that someone like Moren could step into the men’s game and succeed?

Imo no. I don't necessarily believe you can coach mens the same as women's. Totally different style and athletic ability. I felt the post was intended to imply if we had a mens coach who was as good as moren is at coaching the women's team we would be good. I believe that to be true imo

Totally different style. But gotta think she could learn it. Unlike Woodson she’s not allergic to hard work. 
 

We would be better today had we hired her instead of Woodson. Just not sure she could step right in and impact immediately

I think at a minimum she could get them to play with intensity unless we just have a team full of lazy players and  outside of a few I don’t think that’s the case

Womens game is officiated to be more physical.
