What are the college rules for starting pitchers? Is there any logic in pulling Bothwell soon with a 5 run lead to save his arm so he can be ready again for an elimination game or Tennessee in game 3 I assume to be played Sat??

He had thrown 62 to start the 5th.. at that point he would have, at best, been able to throw 1 inning ish on Monday...

Strategy today was correct.

If 1 or 2 other things work out in that game (Bothwell doesn't give up the bomb, a couple more runs)... you could have saved Buhr.

Buhr threw 49.

I wouldn't be surprised to throw an inning on Sunday. Tomorrow is going to be wild.

Foley can throw 110-120 pitches if he can execute. 9 days rest.

TV change: Game is on ESPNU -- not SEC Network (which is what IU's schedule initially indicated)

Is there a way to see this game by streaming...etc.?  That is if/because I/we do not have SEC Network....

TV change -- it's on ESPNU (IU's schedule initially said SEC Network, but now says ESPNU -- as does UT's website).

But I'm certain it's also available to be streamed via ESPN.

Looks like I get it on HULU.  Thanks.

Just completed a 3-night road trip to Nashville IN and B'town and Lake Lemon and Brown County State Park... Walked around Ogle Lake, checked Riddle Park on Lake Lemon, ate at the Uptown, checked out Lilly Library and the campus, genuflected in front of Assembly Hall, bought GF a bracelet in Nashville IN., and had a little wine...etc.  Recommend Hobnob for a really good dinner meal.

Fired up about IU baseball!  Beat those Rebs.

Another Tennessee kid just hit another absolute bomb.
4-0 Vols in 2nd.
If not for a Foley HBP, woulda just been a solo HR.
Foley's gotta settle down.
Foley is a mess gotta get him out of there
