Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 24, 2024 Author Posted February 24, 2024 Unofficial stats for his last 2 games.; 44p; 8r; 2a; 1s; 0b; 1t 18-35 FG; 4-13 on 3s; 4-5 FT 41p; 5r; 1a; 4s; 0b; 6t 17-31 FG; 4-10 on 3s; 3-3 FT No 3 is too deep for Sanderson. Has a quick release and a quick first step. Definitely not afraid of contact. Drew 9 opponent fouls in his 41 pt. game. No shot clock in Michigan and he keeps the ball in his hands a lot. Won't work with a college shot clock. IMO, he should take fewer shots and try to involve his teammates a little more. In the 44 pt. game, Saline led 36-25 at the half and he nearly shot them out of the lead in the 3rd Q launching deep 3s that missed. Hard nosed kid and hardly ever stops moving. I'm not a talent evaluator but he passes this old man's bifocaled eye test. Quote

Gnet550 Posted March 20, 2024 Posted March 20, 2024 He seems to like IU but I would say there is about 0 chance he ends up here, with odds on being he will end up with his dad who was just hired at Illinois. Muskie for three and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

Wonder how permanent this is, “consultant” makes me wonder if it’s just through the spring term or something. Imagine he may have some advocates in Ann Arbor if Dusty wants him back.
