Received an offer on his UV earlier today.  

PG attends Lawrence North HS in Indianapolis.  Played AAU for George Hill All Indy on the indie circuit.

I have to share this story with you all.  Back in Feb. 2022, I contacted C. J.  Gunn's dad via Twitter to ask him where/how I could get C.J.'s high school game stats.  He responded very quickly and we exchanged a number of messages. One of them from him was this --

There is a LN Freshman starter, Azavier Robinson, that should be on IU’s radar. He’s a guard that has a chance to be special on the high school level if he continues to develop. The game versus Snider I saw him take another step. An in state talent to track

Mr. Gunn obviously knows talent when he sees it.

I also had someone tell me about Azavier before his freshman season. I'm sure IU's been watching him for a while now.

That’s really good news. He’s got a baby face so maybe he’s not done. In any event he averaged 7.6 rebounds at 6’0”.

Yes, very glad to see this — like @Stuhoo I’ve been hoping for an offer here. @Demo is right that the height doesn’t fit Woody’s archetype even at PG but the nature of the competition and production suggests to me he’ll be a B1G-caliber player.

Indiana head coach Mike Woodson & Asst. Yasir Rosemond + Notre Dame head coach Micah Shrewsberry are here at Lawrence Central vs. Lawrence North. Both schools have offered 3-star guard Azavier Robinson (Lawrence North H.S. 2025). He is ranked #119 in the On3 Industry Ranking.

That’s some high level IU attention. We must like him a lot.

Law. No. over FW Wayne 72-51.  Robinson 24pts, 7rbs, 3ast, 4stl

 25 pts in 68-51 win over Franklin Central

Scored his 1,000th career point tonight.

27 pts. in a Law. No. 69-55 win over Pike.

Law. No. 73-53 win over North Central in a semifinal game of the Marion County Tournament.  Robinson 12p and 6a.

Law. No. defeats Franklin Central 78-53 to win the Marion County Tournament.    Robinson 13p;  6a

 

'26 E. J. Hazelett of Franklin Central had 17p.  He's visited IU for a couple of games.

27p in a 62-60 win over North Central.  Lawrence North is 15-0 on  the season.  Game winner by Robinson.
