IU is looking at 2027 6'3" PG J'Lon Lyons from Maryland. Kenny Johnson has talked to his coaches.

Rabby says he has good length and quickness, is a disruptive defender. Shot the ball well in the game he saw.

Effective June 15, coaches and staff can start direct contact with '27 recruiting targets.  Conversations can be about where you stand on their list, what you have been doing in your recruiting process, and their recruiting timeline. This communication can include phone calls, emails, video chat software (Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, etc.) and social media direct messaging.

We're hosting another team camp today.  '27 Jason Gardner, '27 Cooper Zachary and '28 Jordan "Boogie" Clark probably considered as the featured visitors.  Clark attends the Christian Academy of Louisville.

Good to see that the staff is keeping in touch with the younger guys.  They certainly seem to be working hard…which is what they’re being paid to do.  And our HC is right there leading the way.

Indeed it is and many of our offers are commenting that the offer came directly from DDV.

I'll try to break it to you gently but I've yet to see our name mentioned as having been in contact with a single '27 recruit since midnight and I follow way too many X accounts.  Bunch of slackers for a coaching staff and we should fire every one of them.

2027 G Chase Branham has heard from these schools so far:  Missouri Purdue Indiana Iowa State Creighton Kansas State Iowa Oklahoma Nebraska Missouri State. One of the top scorers in UAA’s 16U division this spring.

Kitt’s premier skill is spot-up shooting. On the catch, he has great balance, a high release point, smooth mechanics and finds nylon at a solid clip. He also has a go-to fadeaway in the post, where his size and length allow him to get off his shot with ease.

Not an ultra-twitchy athlete, Kitt isn’t exactly a high flyer or blow-by threat – at least not yet. But he still has driving ability, particularly against closeouts. Given his ability from beyond the arc, defenders often fly out to the perimeter to chase Kitt off the line, and he does a stellar job of attacking the basket in those situations, usually getting all the way to the rim (although he also has shown a floater).

An underrated passer, Kitt has shown his basketball IQ in AAU competition with Chicago powerhouse MeanStreets. Many players are willing to make the extra pass, but Kitt does so without hesitation, allowing his teammates to get open looks while the defense is stuck in rotation.

 

Also active on the offensive glass, Kitt crashes well from the weak side and tends to convert at a high rate on putbacks – or wind up at the charity stripe.

That's a really nice write up. Attractive prospect for sure.
