Interesting that according to On3 he shot 45% from 3 at Peach Jam. He played for NY Rens U16’s and I watched a game that Boogie Fland played against them and Betsey couldn’t throw it in the ocean. Don’t remember what he shot, but it was bad. So, he must have had some huge shooting games to get to 45%.

Naas Cunningham, Ace Bailey, Liam McNeeley, Derik Queen, Jaeden Mustaf, Asa Newell, Dink Pate, Flory Bidunga, Caleb Williams, those are top 75 kids off the top of my head, though probably forgetting a couple. Newell has already visited. Queen and McNeeley are visiting week after next. Mustaf and Pate have said they want to visit. So has Bailey, though I have my doubts on that one. 

So, maybe they’re in on a couple.

I posted his Peach Jam shooting above.  For his full 21-game AAU season he averaged 9.0 ppg on 42% FG and also 42% on 3's.  Also 3.7 rpg; 1.1 asst; .7 stl; .8 TO; .2 blk.

• 17 pts (6-12 FG, 2-5 3pt, 3-3 FT), 5 reb, 2 ast & 1 to in 32 minutes (97-79 loss to Hargrave Military)
• 17 pts (8-21 FG, 1-8 3pt, 0-2 FT), 7 reb (2 offensive), 2 ast, 1 to in 29 minutes (78-65 win over Massanutten)

Betsey saw his national stock surge this summer as his combination of size, fluidity, and shooting started to emerge at a rapid rate. Now, he appears to be developing additional weapons as he showed some newfound playmaking ability this weekend. He’s still in the infant stages of building up his ability to create, but he’s fluid, if not always long, off the bounce. He doesn’t yet have much polish as a finisher but he has good hands around the rim, soft touch on some runners, and flashed a big-time reverse pivot into a short pull-up on one possession. Overall, he’s not as far along as others in the class, but his sheer tools and the rate at which he is emerging might allow him to have the highest upside if he's able to put all the pieces together.

I wish I could provide you with some periodic game stats for Betsey but I've yet to find any source that provides any kind of info on the St. Thomas More team.

A rare opportunity to watch Betsey.  St. Thomas More is participating in the National Prep School Invitational.  At noon today, they played GB Academy and on Friday at 10:30 am they play Busche Academy.  All of the games are streamed free of charge.  There's no audio and the camera angle is atrocious.  His game today starts around the 3:10:00 mark on the link below.  Betsey is #13 in the gray uniform.  Games are archived so not necessary to watch them live.

Sir, your timing is, as always, impeccable. One of the Canadian scouting services I follow sent out something pretty gush-y about an under the radar ‘23 7 footer named Brandon Sinclair, who also plays for St Thomas More. Will definitely have to check out both.
