Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 Reportedly a season high crowd and the 5th largest in IUWBB history. HoosierAloha 1 Quote
Hoosierfan1901 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Purdue back in it, IU up by 5 with less than 3 minutes to go Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 So much for my opener in this thread -- Let's hope this game isn't nearly as heart pounding as the earlier game at West Laffy. Come on IUWBB dig down and let's get the season sweep. Quote
Todd41 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Looks like we will need to close this out at the line. Quote
Hoosierfan1901 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Review stands IU ball and NCH forces an PU turnover Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 A win is a win. 64-57 C-H: 19p 7r and uncharacteristically 7 TO's Berger: 16p 6r 5a M-M: 11p 10r Played 29 min. and didn't commit a foul or TO. Looking forward to a lot of future double doubles for her. Gulbe: 11p 6r 2a Patberg a really rough shooting night but had 5r. Next up is a Wednesday night game at Illinois. TheWatShot Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Last few minutes were like root canal, but never going to complain about taking a broom to the Boilermakers. Purdue must really have Patberg scouted well. I didn't think she would play as poorly as she did in the first meeting...instead, she was even worse. 1/8 in 36 minutes with 2 points after going 4/17 with 10 points the first time. Quote

Maybe this had something to do with it today and maybe not, but post-game Coach Moren said she put Ali on PUke's best perimeter player and Ali held her scoreless today. That would be Madison Layden who went 0-7 FG and committed 3 TOs. LockdownD, HoosierAloha and jk34 3 Quote
