(2024) PG - Aaron Powell

[Class of '66 Old Fart]

Not sure how this offer slipped through the cracks but this young man received an offer back on July 20.  Haven't found a great deal of info about him.

Powell is listed as a 6'1" PG attending Campbell Hall HS in Studio City, CA.  (or Pasadena, CA as I've also found it listed.)

Found some stats for the elusive Mr. Powell.  He played AAU  for JL3 on the EYBL circuit in July.  For the games he played from 7/13 thru the 7/19, he played on the 15U team.  He moved up to the 17U team for the actual Peach Jam Tournament finale.

Did anyone ever find out about Powell? Seems weird he posted an offer that was not.

This doesn’t have much to do with Powell but I have a couple friends that went to Campbell Hall. It’s not really a basketball factory but it’s a very expensive/exclusive private school that recruits. Most of the students there are on scholarship or are related to someone in the entertainment industry. Jrue, Justin, and Aaron Holiday are probably the most notable alums as far as basketball goes.

Upon further review from a very reliable source there's been no confirmation that a formal offer was extended.  We've expressed interest but that's as far as it's gone.   We've had a few similar instances of this happening in the past.  We  typically don't start a player thread until a formal offer has been extended and this is my bad for having started the thread without seeing confirmation of an offer from our usual sources.  

Was hoping the thread would languish unnoticed but, oh no, a newbie had to resurrect it and now I've had to openly confess to the error of my ways for which I will surely burn in heck.   lol

BTW, a belated welcome aboard and keep up the solid contributions.
