Class of '66 Old Fart Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 PUke draws within 2 points finishing in a tie for 6th place at the B1G men's golf championships while the best we could do was a tie for 16th place. IU 9.5 to PU 7.5 with 3 competitions remaining. Baseball this coming weekend in West Laffy and men's and women's B1G outdoor track and field championships the following weekend. If would be wonderful if our struggling baseball team could put their act together and win the upcoming weekend series and lock up another win in the Governor's Cup competition. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted May 9 Author Posted May 9 PUke with a baseball win today picks up a full point. It's IU 9.5 to PU 8.5 with only men's and women's outdoor track and field remaining next weekend. Quote

But still holding out hope Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted May 9 Author Posted May 9 It's just a darn good thing our men's and women's bball teams salvaged splits or else PUke would be holding the 1 point lead. Quote
BtownStrength Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Reminder that Purdue men and IU women each got a point for indoor championships. And outdoor has been very competitive the last few years, usually coming down to 1-2 spots. Going to be a hell of a weekend. Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted May 17 Posted May 17 If I am reading this very poorly article correctly the Men’s came in after Purdue but our women’s team placed ahead of Purdue so Purdues futility continues Quote

PUke men and the PUke women both have leads over us in the T&F championships. If those leads hold up, PUke will win the competition outright for the first time since 2018. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted May 17 Author Posted May 17 PUke has won the cup as both their men's and women's teams finished better than our teams in the outdoor track and field championships. Final score 10.5 to 9.5. LIHoosier 1 Quote
