He’s got the rest of his life to take rocks for jocks with Basu. Get paid.

Lol, ok. “get paid”, more like get a UFA contract and PRAY to make a practice squad. How many football players leave early and actually make it back to finish their degree? This is a dumb move no matter how you spin it. His only play was to come back, work on his explosiveness and catching the ball out of the backfield and hope for a big year with Doak Walker and All American possibilities. As is, he has no hype, little accolades and he’s behind a very talented crop of RBs in this draft.

Stevie Scott has as good a chance of winning the Doak Walker as you and me.

Scott is a bit overly optimistic in thinking he's NFL ready. This will hurt Scott way more than it will hurt IU.  I actually, think Baldwin, Ellis and James have more upside and break away speed.

There is literally no trait that stands out that will get Scott drafted. He has been a nice steady back for IU and I like him a lot but he can certainly be replaced.

Practice squad players make like $9000 a week. If we’re being honest he would make much more playing a season on the practice squad then he would trying to land a job with a Degree during a pandemic. Cant blame him for taking that opportunity.
