Given CTM's propensity to play the vets I'm somewhat surprised Lilly got as much playing time as she did and not just because Mack got hurt.  Very glad the minutes happened for Lilly.  Just don't know that we can yet accurately predict Lexi's game.

Having said that, I'm hard pressed to imagine Jules and Leann getting lots of playing time once B1G season starts and thus having a couple of portal vets on board could be beneficial.  

Finally, Mack's been a late season injury twice and I think we have to be prepared that it could - surely hope it doesn't - happen again.

the 6’4” girl from IC…I don’t think it happens but that’s where the 6’5” Arizona girl transfer portal could come in….give a couple years for IC girl (upside) to develop and take over.
Towards the end of season and at times IU Ladies missed N-CHillary play hard nose tough and she had fun doing it that kept her loose).

If Ekh at 6’ with professional experience would buy in that would be good.

Indian Creek. Faith Wiseman. It was mentioned Todd wanted another 3 year big.... I don't see them doing that because Wiseman is coming next year. I could see a grad transfer big... just like Geary, I don't see a multi year transfer. 

But again... where would those vets get mins?

in close games... plus Lexus, Lilly, and Henna. I mean, yes..  I always like adding vets, I just don't see it as a realistic option.... MAYBE a grad PG or C... I don't see that they will be in the rotation though, that is why I don't think we've garnered much interest.

Lauren Ware is the 6’5” from Arizona. My reason for her is she set out last year with injury.  Playing as a role player might fit well in her circumstances.  Another 6’4” possibility is from Arizona State…Newman per Class of 66.

If those girls want to come and be Gearys role... I 100% approve of that. I am not just bringing them here to play ahead of Lilly. My only point.

It’s going to take some development time (a year at least) even though she may play some) for Indian Creek girl.

She will only be a HS SR this year. So.. Holmes leaves and Wiseman comes in.

Disagree that Wiseman will be ready as a freshman to take over for Holmes.  Yes, she is going to be a high school senior next year.

Ahhh I'm talking how it works out logistically. Meister is the post player when Holmes is gone. Wiseman will be her backup.

I watched her play one game against my high school, which is bad competition but she still looked like a project to me. Not someone who will contribute her freshman year

In the long run Faith Wiseman may become a forward at IU especially if she could develop a 3 ball….just speculation not sure…I think there is a lot of upside.  A lot depends on her and her development and I am not sure where it all ends up in a few years.  Right now I know she is 6’4” with some possibilities.

I'd be pretty surprised if she can't do that. But either way, that has nothing to do with this season and our lack of available mins.

Meister did very well this year and was excellent in her playing time.  However, it remains to be seen how well she could actually carry the load as Holmes full time replacement. If IU could get another big where each player could share in that might make for opponents something to contend with much in IU Ladies favor.
