Do you expect to blow out a team in the first quarter of the game?  We've had good defense, gotten to the hoop and are drawing fouls on their guys.

wow using the rim to protect the ball, haven't seen that too often in recent years

Under 8 timeout, 26-22 hoosiers.  They have gotten 6 straight points at the rim.

IU needs to tighten up on the defense end. Way too easy for Portland State the last 4-5 times down.

Do you expect to blow out a team in the first quarter of the game?  We've had good defense, gotten to the hoop and are drawing fouls on their guys.

The offense has looked stagnant and the defense is okay I guess. We are playing against Portland State. A team projected to finish 6th in the Big Sky. This shouldn’t be this close and you should be able to see the difference in talent and ability and it just isn’t showing right now.

The spread is also 20 points, not 40.  That takes time.  If we aren't up by about 10-12 at halftime, then I'll understand that we are playing "rough."  The offense has looked like a team figuring out a new teams defense and press.  Defense (for the most part) has looked solid.  Last couple of defensive possessions could definitely be better.
