Avon upset Brownsburg  (previously unbeaten and ranked #2) 38-0 for the sectional championship.  James, who has been nursing some nagging injuries, returned to play for the first time in a month. He was limited to 29 yards on 10 carries.

Yeah Center Grove is always tough. Carmel always ends up playing Penn or a Fort Wayne school in regionals it feels like.

[Class of '66 Old Fart]

James' high school career ended last night as Center Grove shut out Avon 17-0.   Not sure just what kind of nagging injury has slowed him down but he only rushed for 16 yds. on 8 carries.  This following last Friday's 29 yards on 10 carries and a statement that he had not played in a month.
