Cameron is old though and pitino has a nice class coming in next year with a to 60 guy from New York. Minnesota also has no practice facility. I'm just saying you can still win without modern buildings.

Most definitely!! I dont disagree with that one bit. I just think it only helps when you do. The elite recruits tend to look at those things more than most. You can still have great recruiting classes every so often without. That is why closing your local talent down is so important. Richard has been doing that. Minnesota is gonna be really good in the near future. The Barn is a great place to play.

I was a student at Indiana so I would qualify from you're statement above. I live out of state and haven't gone to any games since RMK. The sorry state of our teams leads me to not miss it up close, as I've seen this s__tshow plenty on TV. As far as facilities upgrades, hasn't Purdue added a basketball facility and upgrades to Mackey? He'll, Clemson did at a football school, so what has Glass done that no other AD isn't doing with facilities? While these are great, I can point to endless other schools who have done just as much. He gambled and lost on Creans contract, and this is the most important fact when it comes to Indiana athletics.

PU facility is not on Cook Hall level. Few are. If he doesn't sign Crean to that unholy 2 year extension we may have had to wait another year as it would have happened the year after we were number 1 most of the year. You should honestly go back if has been that long since you have been there. They have done nice things. Not athletics related but all dorms will have AC in two years which is crazy. We didn't have that luxury. Athletics wise we should be able to compare with the top dogs recruiting wise when we have a new coach. It isn't on a U.K. Level, but they just built theirs a couple years ago.

I want to go back and hope to. My family is here now, and I just haven't prioritized it. It wouldn't be complete if I didn't take in a game, and I would be just as miserable watching Crean coach in person as in front of my TV.

I agree completely. If you get the chance do it. AH looks a lot better. Cook Hall is awesome too I love taking the tour around campus. I got lucky and went to the UNC game so my experiences at the new AH have been fabulous lol. The AC is gonna be a big thing too. May seem minor but if you read kids twitters from our players and others that dont have it it is very much a big deal.

If true it only happened this year. Troy complained non stop last year about it. Stan was also posted about it a lot. The whole players dorms are supposed to be AC either already starting this year or this year coming up.

Troy and Stan must've been doing their extra curricular activities that got them suspended when they were tweeting lol because I lived in the same dorm building as them and the whole thing was air conditioned.

Cook Hall, Memorial Stadium, and AH are his major items he has done in his time. When it was announced AH was going to be renovated it wasn't all cosmetic. There was structural repairs to keep the building going which was a popular decision.

I do want to clarify that i have zero beef with glass and i love cook hall and the renovations to assembly hall it is awesome. Hate they have to say donor name in front of the real name but it is common anymore. I just hope he does right at the end of this season as far as basketball is concerned. I have wanted crean gone along time but don't blame glass a bit for not doing it yet. He has had reason to give chances up until now. Imo it ia now time to act and i believe he will

Ahh okay. I knew they were renovating Read to make it air conditioned, and then converting some buildings back into dorms, but I didn't know they were bringing AC to the other ones without it too. IU's really making a lot of improvements throughout campus. I'm lowkey salty I won't be around to enjoy them lol.

Hahahaha this could be true. I have just seen things on twitter about making the whole campus AC'd I know in 2009 when I was there for my one and done year haha I used a window fan.

Were you in Wright? My gf lived there last year and I could barely stand hanging out in her room lol. Then in the winter it doesn't get any better since they crank the heat to like 85 degrees smh.

Ha I was too with my daughter. She is a sophomore in high school and they will have the AC by then. One of the first things she asked on her tour.
