Yes, now that Tyler Morris is out injured, we potentially will have a red-shirt freshman as our 6th most used WR. (Sarrat, Cooper, Williams, Jackson, Brady).  7th if Charlie Becker gets snaps.

Goodness - if this is the hill you're choosing to gripe and die on, we are in really good shape.

We’re an injury away at QB from being a 5-6 win team. I’m not dying on any hill lol. We’re extremely young and inexperienced team once you get past the top 25 or so players. That’s simply a matter of fact, sorry you can’t deal with that.

OSU-- 6 FR in their 2 deep on offense, 4 on defense...

IU- 5 on offense, 2 on defense.

I wouldn't wanna do anyone's work for them though.

Because I'm bored...

Oregon- 9 total FR in their 2 deep

PSU- 8

Michigan- 10

We have less FR in our 2 deep than Oregon, PSU, OSU, and Michigan. Thats simply a matter of fact.

Acting like OSU or Oregon’s 4 and 5* freshman are at the same level as our freshman is comical and I love what Cig has brought in thus far.

The same can be said for the vast majority of CFB teams.

Obviously, injuries can derail a football team's season.

Most people just aren't anxious enough to point it out like it's a novel concern.

We're an injury away at several positions from having freshman play heavy snaps if not outright starting. QB, LB, safety, Interior DL all across the offensive line, etc

See, pretty notable change. You went from “true” freshman to just freshman, I’d say there’s a rather significant difference between guys who are fresh out of high school and guys who have a year+ under their belt at the college level.

I also am not sure where you are coming up with these freshman from.

LB? We have Isaiah Jones and Kaiden Turner there in reserve, neither of which are freshman.

Safety has one freshman who’s in the two deep because he was extremely highly touted and impressed the staff early on.

Interior D Line? Again, likely not a single freshman sitting on your two deep there, but as third string, sure?

offensive line, once again, not one true freshman there, and you do have a few redshirt freshman across the board, but we have a clear top 6 there and versatile guys who can switch.

I don’t think a redshirt freshman being in a reserve role is a red flag, every team in the country has that.

SMU’s backup QB lead them to a playoff berth last year. You got anything else for me?

It’s not a novel concern but since the mob is out I’ll play along.

Uhhmmmm... most 8+ win teams that are relying on a top tier QB are a QB injury away from winning a few less games.

Lololol now we've changed the goal posts. I'm so shocked.

I was told people that "Not many teams expected to win 8-10 games are trotting out true freshmen if their starter goes down."

So youre either lying or you've changed your opinion from a page ago. Good grief

I linked the depth chart already. We’re an injury away at several positions from relying on freshman for several snaps.

LOL. SMU had two QBs who were in a competition. Stone sucked and had an ouchy toe. Jennings won the job early in the season. Stone threw 51 passes, all in the first three games; Jennings threw 380 passes.

If there ever was an example of "nothing like our situation" that would be it.

I'd be shocked IUFB going 5-6 with a backup QB. I don't think you're giving this coaching staff any credit on how they handle adversity and most importantly, development of players.

Jah Jah Boyd has been on a college campus for 1.5 years... why in the f*** are we worried he cant be a BACKUP?

Lala land to think we are going to have some elite plethora of backups that AREN'T young. Wild stuff

Right. As shown with Michigan, OSU, Oregon, and PSU...  most teams are.

Ohio State and Oregon could lose several starters and still win 8 games in their sleep, they’re that talented. IU isn’t there yet, unfortunately.

When we’re as deep and talented as those schools it won’t be as concerning. Derrr
