IUsafety Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Good for you, I haven't missed satellite at all since cutting the cord. Vue has been great and very reliable for me, except the wife was mad at Christmas time since we didn't have the Hallmark Channel anymore. Glad that BTN2GO has an app for Roku now. Like being able to stream at work now.Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners DawgBawls 1 Quote

I currently have Sling TV that I use on my Xbox and I love it. However, the core package on Vue seems very nice. Quote
AKHoosier Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Does Vue work on Playstation 3? I still have that bad boy but can't remember if Vue's available on it. Also, what is your internet speed? Mine is 15 mb/s so I hope that'd be fast enough if I were to make the switch. Quote

Little more expensive than Sling but well worth it.Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Trish and DawgBawls 2 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appDon't need a PS3 or PS4. I have used it on both of those in addition to an Amazon Firestick and a Roku stick. It works best on the consoles. Vue still works great on the sticks but the template is better on the consoles.Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote

My internet is only 7mb/s and we usually have Vue on one TV, Netflix on another and a computer on YouTube. Very rarely do I have any problems. Make sure you have unlimited internet though. We used 860 GB last month.Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners AKHoosier 1 Quote
SlamaJamaSisley Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I'm looking into the Vue, but does it have a way to record/dvr? I have Dish with Hopper so paying way too much but don't want to lose ability to watch shows and fast forward through commercials if possible. Quote

I have Dish with Hopper so paying way too much but don't want to lose ability to watch shows and fast forward through commercials if possible. It does have DVR. You can record an unlimited number of hours but it is only saved for 28 days. It is different than satellite DVR in that it is not as easy to navigate. For example, I ask it to record an Indiana basketball game. It records all NCAA basketball games until you tell it not to. Then puts all the games into a file. Also unlike Hopper, I can only watch DVR on my home network. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote

It basically records for a month...cant fast forwrd commercials...but not as many...like 4-6...not 10-15 like sat. Quote

Think of shows like being "on demand"....just a hour/ day or so after it was live, dont get me wrong you can still watch live....., i went to a guy at work's house and checked it out first...liked it for my needs...but ask yourself would you give it up for a 100 savings a month? I did...lol... Quote

I have something come up and can't start watching until 10pm tonight. Will it be available to watch at 10pm from the beginning? Quote
