Color me "I won't miss him". He knows BBall, but can't stand his personality. (just like some people don't like my personality I assume) "It is what it is"

I just checked BTN guide for next 5 days and there is nothing on there for HH. However...on the secondary BTN channel, it was TBA for everything after 1-2 days, so it MAY get a feed there. I'll try to keep an eye out for it, and post if I find it.

I gotta think that somebody will post a YT video of "highlights" from HH. I refuse to pay extra for BTN+ just for HH. I would imagine we'll have to ante up for a couple-three games in Nov, (unfortunately) but I'll bite the bullet for that. Really excited for this team. Woody's apparently instilled a mindset that he wants to win it all, not just a few games. Time will tell, but I really believe we will be much better than last year, or last several years for that matter. Go Hoosiers!

My dark horse is Leal, but I think Parker will take it if he hits the first 2 or 3.

You may be right, but I just checked BTN+ website, and all they have on their event calendar is soccer and ice hockey on Oct 2nd at 4 pm

The IUBB twitter feed is a joke as well. At the very best. i'ts really old news. I get news faster on this site than any other. Most of the time the twitter feed is 4-5 days behind. Guess it's managed by "twits". While I enjoy the players posts, I have mixed emotions about them even being on social media with all the hate that permeates someone's every move. But, not my call.

What are the "rules" for coaches interaction (& coaching) between now, and the official start of practice? (Nov?) Can coaches work with individual players, just not the whole team? I know the players can have all the "pick up" games they want, but I'm not sure about coaches interaction during this time. Enlighten me please. Thanx.

He was on with Coyle a while ago and evidently is diving head first into the NIL waters to help players. Not sure if he's leading the charge, or just another admin guy, but he sure seemed knowledgeable about it, and that IU was in the forefront of it, and way ahead of other schools (not all, just some)

According to the twitter feed of the HH guys, Woody is supposed to be the guest on their podcast that airs today. Here's a link if you need it. (It's not available yet @ 8:15 EST). Probably after 9 am I would think. https://www.spreaker.com/show/the-hoosier-hysterics-podcast

To GET, not to give unless she graduated from IU too.

Come on, Old Fart (I'm one too), tell us how you REALLY feel. Couldn't agree more with you. I too, want to see the mental toughness we've been lacking for years. My mantra for the team is "Don't compete....dominate".

(2022) - PF Noah Clowney to Alabama

If we're first or second, we become the benchmark. If we're last, we still blow his doors off. Win-win ! (unless of course, he's all about himself and only looking for the spot light). But one could argue IU's spot light is one of the brightest. He may score more points elsewhere, but won't get the media attention he will at IU. -
After watching the video of both games, I'm glad we won. But I'm more impressed with how well the guys played with each other, and used their quickness to negate the huge size advantage of the Mega team. And of course, Woody is right. Defense always travels. You won't win them all, but you can have a chance if you play good defense. There were very few wide open shots that Mega got. Most were contested pretty well. The one thing I did notice on our offense is that we're still not moving all 5 guys at once, or even 4. That will come as Woody installs more offense IMO. And finally, I think the guys are truly having "fun" playing now. Not just words, but smiles and body language as well. Great start guys. Keep working. Go Hoosiers.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's enjoy this win for sure. For the 1st game that 3 of the 5 starters are new to the team, we did play well. But tomorrow's game may be a whole different outcome. (I sure hope not, but I'm not ready (yet) to put us in the top 10) -

Great outing for Tamar as well. 14 points, and 3 rebounds, only 1 TO. Pretty darn good for a rookie. -

We have 10 TO's with 9 min left. Lots to clean up going forward. But if we can keep it under 15 for the 1st time out, I guess that's to be expected. The good news is that Mega has 20 TO's -

Phin has 3 To's (team high). Hope he's not going back to his old ways... -

We had 6 TO's in the 1st half. Not too awful bad considering first game of year. 7 steals is good to see. And had 3 more boards than Mega. -

And Parker is 0-2 from 3 pt land. That will change for the better. 3 of the starters were out with 2 fouls mid way thru the half
