If we get beat by a better team, and we're still competitve, I won't be ready to jump off a cliff. But to lose to an inferior team because we were lazy (read last year), or not focussed drives me crazy. Are we the best team in CBB? Not yet. But it's possible (maybe not probable) that we could get there, or darn close.

Try telling that to Trayce. I think he'd say: " You're full of (you know what)" I've noticed a big change in his attitude, and I think he's selling it to the rest of the guys. And they're buying in. And I love the effort. There's no reason we should drop one of these 3 games. If we keep playing D the way we have been, get a little better each game on offense, I think we'll be very tough to beat.

Not picking on you, but what makes you think guys will quit driving if their license is suspended? One of the framing crew that built my house got caught driving with suspended license for the THIRD time. Back to the game....

Anybody know who is calling the game for TV on Wed? (If so, how did you find out?) Been searching the web, but evidently not good enough. If it's the skinny guy who calls Assembly the Carnegie Hall of Basketball, I'll gladly listen to him. Otherwise it's Fisch. Also...for anybody interested, I found a "DVR" recorder for radio, so for those of us who stream the games, we're able to sync it with the video. (for me the radio is 10 sec ahead of the streaming video, so I need to delay it.) You can set up a free account at www.dar.fm. In the search box put WHCC, and you can set up one recording (on free version). After you listen and delete it, you can set up the next game or Woody's radio show, or whatever, one program at a time. It's a little cumbersome, but it works. just FYI. (Oh...it does NOT like Chrome browsers. Use Firefox)

There will be ample opportunity to get Tamar a lot of minutes in "easier"(?) games in the next few weeks, before the B1G starts. That's the problem with this team. We like every one of them and want all of them to get major minutes. But I doubt if that's the way to build a championship team. With our luck of constant injuries, I would think we'll need all of them before the season's out.

Watching IU women vs pUKe, and keeping an eye on Cuse. By the looks of it, we have twice as many fans in the stands for the women than Cuse does for the men.

I agree Zags are really good, but I thought TX looked mediocre at best. Certainly NOT top 5 in the country.

Watching the St Johns, St Peters game. St Johns won't be any pushover. If we're not careful they could run us into the ground. This is where our depth could really help us. Pace of play from SJ is impressive. Also have a really good guard and big man.

Race had a double-double !! Quietest DD I've ever seen. Even TJD didn't get a DD. Too many TO's. 15. Woody said he wasn't too upset with it, but hopefully he'll bring it up in the locker room.

And Leal & Lander outscored Rob, Geronimo, & Kopp with a whole lot more minutes. Leal got 7 pts in 5 minutes

With the transfer portal, I doubt if we see any redshirts (except medical) going forward.

He stated in a recent presser that we could see a zone this year, but he hasn't played zone at the NBA level. If our Mano to Mano works this well all the time, why change unless TJD is in foul trouble.

Kitchel is SO MUCH BETTER than Suhr. You can tell him & Fisch are having fun, not just because IU is winning.
