  1. Fisch is so good, who the hell needs TV? (I do, I do !! )
  2. EXACTLY what I need. A dumbed down version.
  3. Anybody know how to set up an internet recorder for radio (like a cloud DVR but for radio)? You Tube TV streaming is delayed so much that the radio broadcast actually happens before the stream starts. No way for me to sync it to the radio. (I know it won't appy to this game, but just wondering for future broadcasts)
  4. MD fans are sitting on their hands, not cheering at all in this close contest. MD ranked #21, and fans (both of them) act like "ho-hum we might lose" Disgraceful.
  5. True. But he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn until about 6 minutes left. Had quite a few open shots in the first half and into the 2nd half. Just couldn't hit 'em. (good for us). You don't make 27 points by mistake. I don't care if it was exhibition or not. Phin only took 11 shots. X only took 9. I still think the kid is an offensive player. To each his own. Guess we'll agree to disagree on this one.
  6. Pace of play is good, sharing the basketball is good, D is EXCELLENT !
  7. 12-1 thru Crossroads Classic (includes 2 B1G games) 12-6 for rest of B1G schedule Not sure about B1G tourney, I think we at least make it to the semi's I think we make the Sweet 16, but not sure after there.
  8. Fisch just said that normally it will be carried on Facebook, but not tonite due to tech issues.
  9. https://whcc105.com Starts @ 7:05
  10. OK, we'll obviously see. I will be more than happy to "eat my words" if I'm wrong, but I bet he gets 15-18+ points against us.
  11. If we can stop Farrakan and Scott, then we should be able to man handle the rest. But Farrakan can flat out play, and creates his own shot better than anybody on our team (except Tamar when he gets a little experience). The good news about Farrakan is that he's selfish. Hardly ever gives up the ball even if it's 1on 3. We should also dominate the post.
  12. From the EMU board: "Transferring in from Northwestern is 6-7 Miller Koop who is less than average SF. At Northwestern, shot 46 percent on two’s, 29 percent on three’s, and rarely gets to the foul-line. Shouldn’t be starting. Poor defender." That's some bulletin board fightin words right there.... Also...Woody's first radio show is tonite @ 7:05 !!
  13. The only disappointment I had with this clip is that Tamar was still in street clothes. On his "podcast" with Jerrod Morris he said he was ready to go. So I'm confused. (sometimes it doesn't take much....)
  14. To me, there are 2 issues concerning NIL $$. (1) Getting money to players "legally". (2) Using players to advertise your business to bring in more business. If I'm a booster willing to pay money to players, and if I don't care about trying to use them to advertise my business, then I'll find a way to use them with or without endorsing my business/product. (Personally I've never bought any product because some celebrity endorsed it) So for me, #2 is not a necessity. It may be "convenient" to do in order to funnel money to the players, but probably won't bring significant returns over and above my other marketing efforts. There are other ways to contract a player to justify the money paid. But, if I'm a business person thinking that a player's endorsement would help my business, then some type of ad representation would be appropriate. My question is, if I'm Andy Mohr in Indy, do I really think that TJD endorsing my dealerships will bring in more business? I would say doubtful. But it might be a convenient way to pay TJD knowing that it wouldn't hurt my business either. But there are likely other ways to get payment to players other than endorsements or appearing in ads. So I'm not sure about having an ad agency represent the players. But I would like to see someone on athletic director's staff to "filter" potential offers...not to say yeah or nay, but to warn the athlete (no matter what the sport) if it is questionable. These kids don't have the time to do their own due diligence. I think there is already some sort of business arrangement thru the athletic dept for a company that advises on NIL stuff for the players, but not sure. I know that Leal & Kopp are using 10/31 marketing (?) to assist them.
  15. Agree completely...IF...Rob can get his shot back.
  16. Miles College (D2) is up 13-4 over "#10" pUKe with only 2½ minutes gone. Now up 23-16 with 10 min left in 1st half.
  17. I'll take Duke over pUKe. UCLA drubs Nova, and TX slaps Zags around.
  18. You're over thinking it, and giving them way too much credit....IMO
  19. Believe it or not, I was gonna drive make the 12 hour drive (1-way) to attend, but when I discovered it was general admission seating, decided I'd rather go to a real game. Glad I didn't make hotel reservations and change my schedule around to make the trip. Gonna attend the OSU game in Jan. Should be a sell-out and roof raising noise I hope !!
  20. Unless he's being held...sure hope not.
  21. Any Kopp sightings today?
  22. I can't help but think that this whole Hoosier Fan Fest was thrown together at the last minute. To hold it 3 days prior to the opening game just doesn't make any sense, to me at least. Might make sense for the HH guys travel arrangements to attend the opener, but since the format was a clone of Hoosier Hysteria in the first place, why not just charge admission for HH? Or if not legal, replace HH with the fanfest? I'm not against trying to raise NIL $$. But I'm not surprised by the scrimmage getting cancelled. Waiting for the slam dunk competition shoe to drop next.
