Let's not forget that the team is learning a NEW defensive scheme, with new coaches, with new demands. And oh, by the way new players too. Considering the huge transformation in both defense and offense, I'm not going to rain on their parade just yet. (not saying you are, JSH). It's a learning curve. I think the team has made great progress from last year. Are we perfect? No. But I see improvement almost every game.

It sure does. The guys over came a LOT of adversity. Some of it their own doing, some not. There is a lot to take away from a game like this, and I trust the coaching staff will drive it all home. Last year's team would've folded after the tech on Stewart. (BS call by the way)

There were plenty of empty seats in the first 10-15 rows, even behind the benches and media table at half-court. But when IU comes to town, it'll probably be one of their better attended games. They may still be pissed at our NC against them.

It will be interesting to see if any other team tries to run us into the ground like Marshall did. Seemed to work for a while until Woody made some adjustments. Cuse doesn't run all that much. That will be a completely different kind of test. We'll see how well me move without the ball in that one against their zone.

He might be right, but I thought Woody scored 43-45 one game in the late 70's or 1980. ICBW though. McGinnis scored his in AH too I think, but before Knight got there. AH was open for a year before RMK if I remember correctly. (big IF)

I think Race could have had a bigger scoring game, but when they refused to double TJD, you keep feeding him. If they had doubled him more, Parker/Kopp and Race would have scored more.

It's amazing what a good a$$ chewing will do to motivate you...
