  1. I give that to Coach Womack’s adjustment at half time. He was a great DC for IU under Coach Allen. Both he and Coach DeBore were a large part of why we were good back then … I love our chances with this team and coaching staff.
  2. ....good point! I guess the bowl representatives know what they're getting into. Maybe there are just too many "watered down" bowls, I don't know.
  3. I was just coming to post a similar thing...... It's so frustrating that players "bail" on a team at the end of the season, especially if they qualify for a bowl. It really cheapens the team and the bowl. I mean, these bowls are shelling out a decent amount of money for these teams to come play in their bowl. In the end some of these team's key players "pass" on thier team's invite and then look and play nothing like they did during the season. Every team goes into the season with hopes to make a bowl...... It just baffles me.
  4. ....I feel Coach Cignetti will be very, very select and "stealthy" on his next QB decision.
  5. Pretty cool how much IU and Alabama have so much “IU” connections…starting with former Alabama assistant coach Cignetti… ….pretty cool when you look at it from a different perspective….
  6. I love it. I definitely would love to see all new updated press boxes and suites on the home side as well a some seating expansions along with updated parking to account for additional seats.

  8. …..IMO, if Alberto is passed over by IU and transfers, I see him having a similar, but a better impact than Sorseby
  9. …..now he’s sorry……lol https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47310651/vanderbilt-qb-diego-pavia-apologizes-reaction-heisman-trophy-loss-was-mistake
  10. ….a gift that keeps on giving.
  11. …. I do hate to throw shade on a Heisman candidate, but “off the field” optics and character are, IMO more important in the long run.
  12. No offense to Sorsby….Coach Cignetti will/likely have much better options to choose from
  13. IMO….Coach Cignetti is any Portal QB’s dream coach
  14. Alberto knows nothing is guaranteed to him, especially from Coach Cig….
  15. …..he seriously has to be looking/sniffing at the possibility to stay or go.
  16. Minny down 3 at the half at Purdue. They are playing with 7 players tonight….. Would be nice if they upset Purdue….would make our loss feel/look a little better.
  17. ….he definitely can’t sit and the pocket as long as he’s been able to.
  18. ….. sorry, but I know this will be the very first time I EVER, EVER….NOT watched an IU basketball game (when we are playing well). Instead I’ve been watching the Michigan/Ohio St. game. I recorded it to watch later….lol I know there are a few of you who may or may not have done the same thing….. lol
  19. You better believe Coach Cignetti's plan is to score till the clock shows 00:00.
  20. ....that's his sarcastic way to say he doesn't care for/respect, IU/Cignetti. ...bluffing. lol
  21. ....I get the feeling this game will be a bit "chippy" on a cold Friday night.
  22. He spent the majority that video explaining what he wants to do in the off season..... lol ...of Coach Odum's 11 minute pre game presser, the two quotes below are 99% of what he said that hand ANYTHING to do with IU Football....lol Q: Is there any value in having a bye this late in the year? “It was valuable for us, certainly. And I’d bet if you’d ask Cignetti, I’d bet it was really valuable for them. So, it’s all what you make of it. They provide the schedule early in the year and then you adjust and try to fit what’s best for that current team. I thought it was really good for us.” Q: Can Purdue build a program that is a playoff contender like Indiana has done? “Yeah, I mean ultimately. I don’t want to speak – I know what they’ve done win/loss record – but I don’t know any details other than that. I know Cignetti has done a heck of a job. So, absolutely. You look at the opportunities that exist in college football today, in recruiting, expanded playoffs, and now retention and revenue share… Purdue has got everything that is needed to have a really, really successful football program.”
  23. I believe that's Vincent D'Onofrio from the old Law and Order. lol
  24. ....why stop what's been working so well? You know there are some highly talented/capable qb's sitting on teams with poor OL's/coaches who would love be IU's next Roark/Mendoza. I can't imagine that Alberto thinks he's a lock to start next year. It's just the nature of the business right now. He knows he will be coaced by the best coach in the nation, but will that be enough for him to take the reigns?...... Coach Cignetti is definitely going to give him every shot/opportunity to be THE one for next year. At this point, you can bet that he is being/will be contacted about a potential transfer qb who would love to help IU next year.
