I was literally think how to post this same thing! lol personally, having graduated from IU and lived in Bloomington for 8 years, downtown U of L is not even in the same hemisphere! My oldest daughter graduated from IU but earned her Masters at U of L. Wow, I was never so glad when she was done with that school. Uggggh!

Igor @IgorMilavic All signs here are now pointing towards @IowaHoops . Enright was impressed by Ben McCollum and the Iowa program on his recent visit.

I think we are going to see a different but better type recruiting at IU than we’ve been used to in a while. As we are all aware by now, Coach DeVries wants a cohesive and working locker room. I assume he is really doing his research on the players he wants and thinks will fit best into his model.

Not to beat an already dead horse and trying to find that “ship that has sailed”,…… Wouldn’t DeVries try to kick the tires and reach out to Mullins? Why not?

I’m looking forward to seeing what his vision of embracing past IU traditions, history and former IU players…..I believe he mentioned he will be a part of the IU history moving forward now. Who do you see as former IU players/player that Coach D could use on staff?

....Oh, man, you're right! That staff has to be the #1 thing he does first, then the rest will fall into place. If you get specific assistants to come aboard, you get certain recruits or players to follow too.

.....Now, the next few rounds of excitement on this board and for Coach will be ..... 1. What's his coaching staff look like? 2. What current IU players he wants back? 3. What players besides his son will follow him from W. Virginia?.... 4. Who does he land from the portal?....

…..I think we all need to get used to Coach DeVries seeking out and landing the type of players that fit and work well in HIS system and HIS locker room. That was emphasized several times in his press conference. He will have a TON of NIL money to spend, but it HAS to be the right fit and a cohesive group to work. (Sound familiar, Coach Cig?) I hope he guts the roster and keeps Sisley and Goode.

Super, super excited after watching this breakdown of what Coach D is going to bring and instill here at IU. I know this is just a snippet, but MAN, it will be so refreshing seeing a team that plays hard and looks well coached!!! If you’re wanting to see what it could and most likely, will look like, ….it’s a must watch!

.....just finished watching the presser. 2 major things that stood out to me. 1. Coach has very a similar mindset, work ethic and expected "end game" as Coach Cignetti. 2. I LOVED his approach to the players, the team, the program, his assistants and the fan base as "WE"! There was no power hungry " I " as in, "I gotta do this","I gotta get them better", "I gotta get this team going"....... He truly values his staff and what they have to offer and contribute. This will be very welcoming and refreshing!!!!
