Just saw Mullins’ game winner again and it occurred to me that the real unsung hero of Duke going home is Steph Curry. Kid throws up a 35 footer and for him it’s a just a regular old jump shot. 15 years ago it would have been at least a bit of throw. But this generation that’s grown up on Curry and Lillard and how they changed the game have just developed different stuff. I like defending the old game as much as the next guy but the skill level on the perimeter now is just a different deal entirely.

Would agree with the contingency that DDV is able to spend 100% of his NIL budget and fully construct his roster with that kid not being factored in in any way and should they be able to make something happen there the money people are prepared to write a big extra check. If that’s the agreement, fine, keep swinging and treat his recruitment like a lottery ticket. Just not sure that’s how that will go.

Uh, no. Don’t care how talented he is, if that’s the timeline I’m down with moving on. You better have roster certainty in June.

Made me wonder during last year’s search if he could be poached though there’s no indication that Dolson tried. If he can be had UNC can do it. I think he’s better than you do, but tonight ended an era in which he found some absolute recruiting steals over 3 or 4 years and couldn’t get over the hump with them.
