Happy 125th birthday to Louis Armstrong. Because most people only know him from “What a Wonderful World” or some picture from his later years with some big stupid grin on his face his musical importance is pretty much completely lost. No, Armstrong was legitimately great and had his fingers all over blues and jazz and, by extension, rock and roll. Those genres would be quite literally different had that guy not lived.

RIP to Glen Hansard, who passed in a motorcycle accident over the weekend. Irish singer/songwriter and incredibly influential in the folk and folk-adjacent world. Was a musician’s musician and just beloved in the music world both for his talent and from all indications being 1 of the best guys ever.

Well, that’s pretty good. Dude was a killer.

If I remember correctly he put some 6’4” dude on a poster in 1 of the 60pt games. That’s not nothin’.
