2 interesting things here: 1) DDV confirming they were holding a scholly for Alexis, sonething we’ve speculated some about around here. Explains why Alexis didn’t sign an exhibit 10 deal with OKC. He was the only guy on their summer league team who wasn’t signed to some kind of contract. He wanted to be pure as Caesar’s wife for the purposes of the legal fight. Feels to this non-lawyer like he got better legal advice than some of these other guys. 2) DDV saying Alexis is young for the class. Turns out that’s true. Sam doesn’t turn 22 until next week.

Ok, you have an assignment: Sunnyslope has a home game on 1/21 against Millenium. Millenium has a top 10 ‘27 SG named Adan Diggs who has a spectacular list. Will be 1 of the few matchups in the country this year of 2 5-star kids playing for actual high schools. You need to hit that game and report.

The 1 I’m keeping my eye on for the possible splash transfer is Latrell Almond. I’m president of that kid’s fan club. Not sure he’d be a perfect fit next to Wabbington, but in that case would not care.

I’m sure they’ll have as many roster slots as they want or need. Monden’s a break the glass kid. Sokolov has 1 year to show enough to stay at this level. I’m sure they sold Sherrell on getting him to the League next year and that was certainly part of the Wabbington pitch. Lindsay’s at his 4th school in 4 years. But a foundation of Burton, Samet, Mustaf and all of the younger guys, we’ll see how it goes with Harris, is what I care about and that feels pretty solid.

Pretty funny that this year’s roster was never full but next year’s(theoretically) already is.

Since the Butler exhibition is being broadcast locally do we have any idea who’s actually calling the game? Side note: I’m going under assumption that the broadcast will be streamed on the WISH-TV website. Will be incredibly annoyed if it’s not.

That is probably the pull of the year if you’re right. I’m sure he visited, though I don’t think it was an official, and he was an Adidas kid. But I don’t remember which program.

Hell, he might be the only who’s ever even visited. Woody offered probably half a dozen of their kids and I don’t remember any of them coming.

Love the kid. Whatever it is he has it. I know DDV doesn’t designate captains but Moody will be wearing the C in all but name by the time he’s a Jr.
