Huh

Outstanding get. Not just a really good but a really fun player to watch. Bigs with flat out elite playmaking chops do not grow on trees.

Ok, so Kamagate is already 18. Can’t imagine there’s not a reclass in the very near future.

Yes, Ehrlich is really good and keeps things consolidated in a way that’s really useful.

Never want to see little brother win a game, ever, but this one was probably worth it for this alone.

Also think I saw somewhere that IU is on King Bacot, Armando’s brother and a ‘29 SG who’s at Petersburg as well.

You know what closed it? Being a million degrees in Bloomington the weekend of his visit. While everyone else in town was spontaneously combusting the kid was out on the field with his sister throwing a football around and completely comfortable and DDV took one look at that and said, “ Darius, no kidding, this is our weather year round. You don’t even need to buy a jacket. Seriously Champagne is in a freaking blizzard alley. You don’t want any of that.”

Dude’s worth a bill and a half and yet he’s doing the 21st century equivalent of casino greeting. For Chrissake, isn’t there a monetary point where your dignity outruns extracting the last dime available to you?

The only new thing is the kid saying he doesn’t feel rushed and will pull the trigger when he feels ready. Can’t argue with that. Doesn’t feel like the kind of kid who’ll wait out more offers. Says he’s done with that part.

Have seen a fair amount of this sentiment the last couple of days. Am I the only one who doesn’t feel this way at all? I think this is a potentially really good team that’s still figuring it out, played 1 pretty good team that they struggled with, is probably ranked pretty appropriately and starting this week we’ll see what we’ve got. And their rankings are completely irrelevant because if they go undefeated or 1 loss they’re in the playoffs no matter what. I’m not sure what all the irritation is about.

On the Rushmore of mental processors. What I wouldn’t give to be in that dude’s head for a few minutes just to experience what seeing the game like that is like. Both the low defenders think the ball’s going to the guy cutting to the free throw line because of course it is. Nobody targets the weak corner and if they do they aren’t throwing THAT. Unbelievable.

Few’s right here. At this point the NCAA just needs to let this go. You can’t have a scenario where you have 2 guys with identical arguments and 1’s playing and 1’s not and the only differentiating factor is a judge or a jurisdiction. You just can’t. They’re not gonna get what they want from Congress this year. It’s time.

That’s an example of the old saying about why DB’s aren’t WR’s. That was a pretty painful absence of ball skills.

That happened? Incredible.

Wait a minute, they had 12 dudes on the field on back to back plays? Has that ever happened before?

Not that this isn’t already over but I’m thinking this is the drive where Rutgers quits. Not feeling a lot of competitive energy left in the building.

Hoover follows up his best throw of the year with his worst throw of the year.

No, you don’t have to “admire the decision”. If you make it you’re still 65 yards away and if you don’t this happens and Cig calls ballgame.

Now that be a hook.

Kid is a bad man. Gonna play a lot of Sunday games.

I thought they missed it by maybe a ball length, but not 3/4 of a yd.

Marsh is just a nasty athlete. He made that catch look like it just wasn’t a thing.

Ok, that fair catch felt an awful lot like Cig has told Becker, “Just catch them, please,” and no returning need be done. Fine by me.

Love this so far so much. Really wanted to seem them come out and get the passing game efficiency ratcheted up for down the road against better teams. And here we are.
