    1st kid they’ve been attached to that I just wouldn’t want any part of. He may be a good kid but his path for the last 5 years has been a mess.

    The way the game’s played now it’s pretty much just a semantic distinction anyway. Kid wants to be a 4? Fine, introduce him as a 4. He’s still gonna play within the dictates of the system no matter where he ends up. And other than Kohler’s 3’s last year Izzo had both of those kids playing a completely traditional 5 role.

    Goodman doing Goodman things. But as much fun as the last couple of hours have been, this one needs to get locked down. You have to get the PG in place and be able to point at that guy when you’re working other kids.

    Welcome young man. Couple of seasons late, though I imagine had he chosen IU out of high school he’d be somewhere else now. So it probably worked out the way it should have.

    Doubt that’s true but if it is he might as well cancel the visit because in the current bigs market Sherrell might get as much as the 2 of them combined.

    Interesting. WVU has Miles Sadler coming in and I would have just assumed they’re giving him the ball. Imagine he assumed that as well. Would Bizjack be comfortable playing off the ball?

    Not mine, no, but given the names in play and that it certainly appears they want them both(Mustaf and Harris) I would guess the staff would view it that way.

    If the best case scenario plays out and they end up with Burton, Harris, Mustaf and Moody the obvious need is another pure PG without huge expectations for this year.

    Agree with Davis 100%. The hyperbole here is gonna be nuts. If anything they’ve downgraded at PG even if Brown didn’t shoot it great last year and Flory is a great defensive anchor but if he’s your best player I’m not sure you’re actually winning anything.

    Probably, what, 7 mil between them, something like that? But they have their big and their PG and that’s where you start.

    Can’t imagine he doesn’t stay in the draft but, my lord, will that kid be an expensive proposition if he comes back.

    Saw what may have been the last Minutemen show. They were opening for R.E.M. on their Fables tour and saw them at Clowes Hall in Indy in December ‘85. The wreck was a week or 10 days later.
